Chie and I were inseparable during our college days at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila.

I moved to Leyte, she left for the US of A. I stayed for a couple of years in Baltimore, Maryland but I never even thought of trying to look for her.

Almost two decades passed until one day I got a call from her making me guess who was calling. I knew right away it was her on the other line. We somehow were able to squeeze in some time from her hectic schedule to meet and catch up on lost time. Giggles and giggles were all you would hear from us for the next couple of days. That was maybe five years ago.

We kept in touch from then on. She made very frequent visits to the Philippines but our schedules never gave us a chance to meet up again.. until April 29 she decided to come and visit me here in Leyte accompanied by her sister Ate Minnie.

Giggles... giggles ... giggles ... old habits never die. :-)
